Swiss-American filmmaker Thomas J. Davenport completed his film studies at ECAL (Cantonal Art School of Lausanne). His 2017 short film, 'The Race of a Lifetime', premiered at the Locarno Festival in the Pardi di domani section. Four years later, his feature film debut, 'A Place to Be' (2021), followed. It was first presented to a wide audience at the Zurich Film Festival.
