Tobias Kay is a German actor and producer from Hamburg who has been working in film and television since the 2000s. He became known to a wider audience through the Sat.1 series Klinik am Alex, in which he plays the role of assistant doctor Christian von Uhlen. In addition to his TV roles, he has increasingly developed as a producer of his own projects. A key reference title is IM WALD (2021/2022, directed by Manuel Weiss). In this thriller, Kay plays one of the roles in an ensemble cast revolving around a father-daughter trip that escalates in a remote forest area. The film premiered at the International Hof Film Festival, where it is listed as a festival entry. Equally important is GOLIATH96 (2018, directed by Marcus Richardt), a drama about a mother and her reclusive son, in which Tobias Kay appears as Jochen Picard. The film was screened at the International Hof Film Festival.
