Tuki Jencquel

Tuki Jencquel is a Venezuelan filmmaker and producer, born in Caracas in 1974. He studied at the German School in Caracas, earned a film degree from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and an MBA from IESA in Venezuela. In 2017, after relocating to Germany, he founded Orinokia Filmproduktion. As director and cameraman, he has worked with Deutsche Welle and Ai Weiwei. His documentaries "Está Todo Bien" (IDFA 2018, Best of Fests) and "Jackie the Wolf" (Hot Docs 2023) were internationally awarded, theatrically released, and broadcast worldwide. He is a member of AG-Dok and an alumnus of Eurodoc 21. He is currently producing "Vater, Sohn, Widerstand" by Götz Schauder, supported by German film funds and 3sat/ZDF.
