Swiss actor Ursula Andress, born in 1936, gained worldwide recognition for her role as Honey Ryder in the first James Bond film, "Dr. No" (1962). For this performance, she was honored with the Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year – Actress in 1964. Her career includes other notable films such as the Bond parody "Casino Royale" (1967) and the fantasy classic "Clash of the Titans" (1981), in which she portrayed the goddess Aphrodite. Through her appearance in "Dr. No", she defined the image of the "Bond girl" and established herself as a 1960s cinema icon.
