Vincent Redetzki, born on April 1, 1992, in Berlin, is a German actor who has been active since childhood and has made a name for himself through roles in film, television, and theater. He achieved his breakthrough as the student Willi in the popular youth films “Die wilden Hühner” (2006–2009), followed by a serious role in the drama “Sommer vorm Balkon” (2005). In the short film FÜR MIRIAM (2009, directed by Lars-Gunnar Lotz), Vincent Redetzki plays Lukas Fleißer, the brother of accident victim Miriam. Math teacher Karen accidentally causes a fatal accident, whereupon Lukas becomes increasingly consumed by her guilt and his grief. Redetzki is convincing in this role with his quiet intensity and the psychological depth of a teenager whose pain pushes his relationship with the teacher to emotional extremes. The film was part of the Perspektive Deutsches Kino at the 2009 Berlinale and demonstrated Redetzki's ability to portray complex emotional themes credibly even in short formats. In addition to “FÜR MIRIAM,” he has appeared in other serious formats, such as “Die kommenden Tage,” for which he received a German Television Award in 2009. His filmography includes titles such as “Die Wölfe,” “Tatort,” “Die Chefin,” and currently the Netflix series “Kleo.” Redetzki remains an influential actor on the German film scene, bringing authenticity and strength of character to roles rich in nuance.
