Winson Calixte

Haitian filmmaker Winson Jean Calixte completed his training at the Ciné Institute in Jacmel. His 2018 short film "Nway Kan" addresses social challenges in his home country. The work was featured in the program of the Festival Nouveaux Regards, among others. In his work, Calixte explores the realities of life and the culture of Haiti.
