BERLINIZED by Lucian Busse is a tour of 1990s’ Berlin-Mitte, capturing the unique vibe of the club culture and art scene at a very special time in history. After the Berlin Wall fell, a lively and motley scene of young people used the vacant buildings and apartments in Berlin-Mitte as a stage for parties, music performances and art happenings. Long-term success was not an important goal – people lived their lives from one event to the next experiment, playfully de-establishing art and its market imperatives.
