Those who identify themselves as asylum seekers in Brandenburg first come to the "Central Initial Admission Office" in Eisenhüttenstadt. Wasim from Syria, Mathew from Kenya and Gedeon from Cameroon are stranded in this unreal place in the absolute outskirts of the country. A snapshot of a life on hold, between hope and fear.
