A fitting description. The rich and surprising mix of Blues, Swing, Folk, Rock 'n Roll, and Gypsy is tossed together with a bunch of other weird stuff, but the result is seductive and textured. You could say the same about the band members' unique and at time traumatic backgrounds: Armenian-Swiss exiles in Canada, intellectual Swiss-Indians and a semi-criminal New Zealand escapee. One thing ties them together, they are blessed musical artists all.
