Taghi, an Afghan refugees living in Iran, faces the choice of staying in a country where he is not welcome or returning to a country he barely knows.

Taghi, 34 years old, has spent his entire life in Iran. Although he is an engineering student, the chances of finding work in Iran are slim. Influenced by Afghan TV shows that urge emigrants to return, he makes a visit to his country of origin.

Like 3 million others, Taghi's family fled Afghanistan after the Soviet Union invaded in 1979.

Director Afsaneh Salari "has a strong sense as a filmmaker and manages to artfully capture the tension in quiet, everyday moments. The result is that we feel the burden and restrictions imposed on this immigrant family in Iran as if it were our own country." (Docs in Orbit)
