Rebekka (Sarah Mahita) grew up in a secluded village in the Black Forest. She is popular with everyone, has had a boyfriend for a long time and seems to lead a carefree life. But appearances are deceptive: since her older brother Dennis jumped to his death two years ago, the family idyll is nothing but a façade.

After her 17-year-old brother's death, Rebekka falls into a deep depression but deals with her pain by falling in love with her brother's best friend.
